90% of our media is controlled by six media conglomerates (corporations). They have an incredible amount of control over what the people see and in turn, think. And I'm thinking, many of these companies have too much benefit over making you and me feel like shit.
They have no interest in helping us solve our real issues. Instead they continue to run "entertainment news" 24/7 to keep us in fear and anxious. We're more likely to go out and spend $$$ on shit they want to sell us.
Well, my way to protest this bullshit is by taking care of myself. Reminding myself that I matter, that I love myself and the people in this world. I want to do more and show more positivity in the world. The only way I can do that is by showing myself more kindness.
I love you. We're connected in ways we'll likely never fully understand but I'll continue to explore in hopes to get a better understanding.
Remember -- You've made mistakes, like me. You hurt, like me. You want problems solved, like me. You experience pleasure, like me. We're not all that different, really. Perhaps we should show others a lil more kindness and understanding? Especially during times like these.
