You’d think moving into a new place is exciting. Well…apparently, I had my music playing too loud. I met the neighbors in the driveway on Sat. So later the afternoon the guy comes over says music is too loud. Actually said it was the bass. I turned it down heard nothing the rest of the afternoon. It was on same setting sun when I turned it on and actually turned it down another 2 notches. About 5.30 (I turned it on at 10.30), he comes over saying it’s too loud. This time saying he can hear the words and the bass. I said I’d turned it down less than the day before and didn’t think it was an issue because he didn’t come back over. Then he continued bitching. Finally I said you have to expect some level of noise because we have shared walls. Well he didn’t like that comment threatening to call HOA and how he knows the county sheriff and he’d call them on me🙄. His wife’s getting ready to have a baby and at some point I said so when the baby’s wailing away can I come knocking on your door. That probably didn’t help the situation,but at that point I was irritated. I think he’s being irrational. I said I wasn’t living in silence. I said I had zero issues at the apartment complex and I had the volume all the way up and never any complaints from neighbors above or beside me. 🤬. That’s just put me in a pissy mood since that last exchange.

Was supposed to wear the compression garment today, but forgot to hit start on the washer🤦🏼♀️. I basically do laundry daily because I’m wearing this thing 24/7.
Started working out last week, but took off a couple days with the move. I hit quads and lower body pretty hard and I could barely walk😬😩😄. Basically, 3 weeks off workouts and you wouldn’t think it’d be that big of a deal, but I was struggling through some workouts.
Got the rug down and furniture in place and it looks crowded ☹️. The recliner is crammed up against the wall. I don’t want to buy new furniture! I’ve had the couch probably 12 yrs. It’s quality and is still in very good condition. I may just have to deal with it, just disappointed. I don’t rvrn have the plant stand or curio cabinet in the room. They’re not going to fit on the rug area. Still so much to do!
I’ve been sleeping on the left side of the bed forever. I’ve had to switch and start sleeping on the right and not particularly liking the change. You ever done that?😄
Not sure if I’m loving the strong looking body because of the treatment or if it’s looking strong because of the overhead lighting 😄. I questioned my surgical nurse who did my skin tightening procedure that I’m not seeing results, she chucked and said she went to town on my legs and that I just need to trust the overall process 😄, including the face and neck too. Apologies for not responding to any messages in the last several days. The move and back to work only to come home and try to figure out how to get my thermostat connected to my WiFi. Sometimes tech can be a pain in the ass😖🙄. Off to bed, night night😘
Omg…what a weekend! Everything is now moved in. Request help to put things up😄. Thankfully, found a couple guys when I rented the U-Haul truck that actually showed up Sunday morning. The truck was really too small and weren’t able to get the dozen boxes. However, after unloading the guy convinced me to go back and get the boxes (apt to house was only 1/2 mi). I was ever so grateful!!!! The other good news is lost 5 lbs😄, barely ate anything except protein bars and fruit and on the move the entire day. Slept on the floor the night before furniture delivered. 😄
Today was a good day until it wasn’t a good day☹️. Got appliances delivered, internet installed, saw some deer out back. I boxed up a good bit of the apartment… by myself. Was planning on having movers move it. However, after getting a quote and booking movers for Sat afternoon, I get a call 30minutes later they doubled my rate and couldn’t do it. This was after I cancelled my usual. 🤬 Well I got some shit done myself. Borrowed the work truck and dolly. I’m fucking tired and frustrated. I booked another U-Haul and some helpers for Sunday morning. Hopefully, things go smoothly
Moved more items to the new place. I’ve realized there are zero linen closets and zero drawers on the bathrooms 😩🙄 so having to look at more strategic cabinet organizers. No coat closet so been looking for an armoire. I’d rather buy second hand than purchase something new. However, it’s difficult when you don’t have someone to help you to go and pick up and unload the item. 😞. Great new is I’m off tomorrow and appliances and internet will be installed 🙌🏻😁
Financial reports submitted!!! Woohoo 🙌🏻 it was tough. One deadline done, 2 more critical ones to go. Still some other reports need done, but they aren’t as critical and aren’t reported to corporate. Off on Friday as I’m getting appliances delivered and internet service installed. Still need to make the big move of everything else in the apartment. I haven’t scheduled the U-Haul yet as I haven’t had time to pack up the stuff that’s still being used. 😩 I want to be fully moved in this weekend, just don’t think it’ll happen
Was back in the office today. Glad I worked all that I did last week. Financials are due to corporate tomorrow. About 3 hours today was ste up with interruptions and people camping out in my office wanting to chitchat 😖. Normally, I don’t mind, but just wayyyy too much to get done. Time for bed. 😘

Had my follow up appointment today. Stitches were removed and the incision tape was removed. It is looking good. Still stressing about deadlines. Been working from home, but still pulling 9-11 hr days. Going in tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 I complete everything and can enjoy 1 day off. Next week will be nuts!!!! Yes these are all reposts
Still some swelling, but I’m able to see some promising results 😁. Tho don’t see much tightening in face and neck. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow.
Here’s what working from home looks like this week. Soooo many deadlines next couple weeks 😩and I’m stressing big time. I know I’ll be working the weekends.
Pulling some from some old photos. I’m still healing and the compression garment isn’t very attractive 😄. I’m wearing this for 3 weeks only taken off for showers and washed at that time. Just helps with healing. I’ll be pulling old photos so please don’t get bored with me. 😘
Just a quick update. Surgery went well. It took about 3.3 hrs and I had a friend pick me up and stayed the night with me. I have a compression garment that’s like a full body suit down to my calves. Bruising pain is setting in so one more day of typically the worst pain then it will better day by day from there. I’m able to move around, just very slow to do so. Thanks for all the well wishes 😘
After surgeon marked me up. Just prior he put in his 2 cents that with me because I keep looking better each time, he proceeded by saying there comes a time when you need to admit that you look fantastic 🥰😊.. do know that, but I know there’s room for improvement 🙂

Another long 10 hr day at work. I’m getting anxious about the surgery 😬. Not so much surgery itself as I totally trust my surgeon and I know I’ve done all I can do to have a successful procedure. I should be under about 4.30 hrs. I’m scheduled first thing in the morning. I plan to workout, just have to do it without water or gum😬😩. I know the first 3 days are the worst, 3 rd day being the absolute worst. From then on it’s just continue to take it easy and not do too much. And no lifting anything more than 5 lbs😖😅. Good news…I lost 4 lbs on my trip😄. Okay, it was probably all water weight 😄. I’ve got soooo much going on with work and personal life. I keep wondering what I’m going to miss or screw up or if I’ll even finish. 🤯😩😵💫🥴🥴🥴. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 I don’t get sick! Doing so will delay my surgery.
Had a full day of seminars. Only about 1hr free time today,then shuttled to Topgolf. I’ve had my fill of socialization today 😂. I was ready to come back to the hotel at 8, but they didn’t bring us back until almost 10. I’m exhausted!!! Sorry for no risqué photos
