Sorry for being MIA.. as some of you know, I picked up snowb..

Sorry for being MIA.. as some of you know, I picked up snowboarding as a new hobby.. I became obsessed BUT I had a pretty bad accident.. I had a GoPro mounted on my chest.. I caught a bad edge and flew forward and fell FULL IMPACT and FULL FORCE right into the ground.. on top of my GoPro 😞 I got the wind knocked out of me.. Needless to say, I was in a LOT of pain.. I tried to manage the pain at home..took a nice, hot bath with epsom salt 🛀🏼 made myself a warm bowl of ramen 🍜 something went down the wrong hole 😫 and I went into a coughing fit... I felt like I was getting punched in the stomach.. I felt sharp pains every time I took a breath.. so I decided to go to Urgent Care. I was there for a few hours. They did x-rays to see if I had broken any bones, a CAT scan to check my internals.. also drew some 🩸. They saw an abnormality in my x-ray and at first they thought it was a fracture, but since the pain wasn't in the area where they saw the abnormality, they concluded it was just that (an abnormality is basically an error). So they gave me some meds to manage the pain and sent me home. I spent a few days laying on my couch, doing nothing. It was MUCH NEEDED 😌 upon relaxing, I had one thought I found ironic and hilarious.. after my first two lessons, I decided to invest in snowboarding, so I went out and bought all the essentials- base layers, snowboarding jacket, bib, gloves, helmet, special goggles, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, I even got a back protector.... and the one place I wasn't protected was the ONE PLACE I GOT HURT 😭 basically.. what the universe was trying to tell me was that "no matter how prepared you are for something-you are not invincible.. so take it easy, killa.. dont rush. enjoy the process.." UPDATE- I'm feeling much better.. but still feel a lot of pain in certain situations like when I am getting up and down from sitting or when I am getting in and out of bed.. laughing, sneezing, coughing hurts like hell... other than that, I've started moving around.. and am eager to get back on the slopes..🏂 I figured this is apart of the sport, this was the first and it won't be the last time I'll fall or get hurt.. But I am not gonna let that stop me from doing something I have fallen in love with! Here's the vid of me crashing 😭 dont laugh- I know I sound like a dying cow..
