I was in my mid 30s! 14 years ago in China there were almost NO bikinis on the beach. Chinese women generally think being tan is low class like a field worker and the culture is too conservative. Nowadays you can see a mix on the beaches there. Some people still swim in their clothes like before, some wear “burkinis” or “face-kinis” and some wear more hip and sexy stuff. And sometimes even accidentally too sexy. I’ve seen some women try to swim in their white underwear thinking it’s basically the same as a bikini! Haha. And some men in tighty-white-y too. Anyway When I tried a bikini loved the feeling of it! I felt so sexy and liked the attention. Still do 😘
